Explain:

Domain Names:
Domain Names is the name of the websites. In other words, the IP address of the website, in which, it allows users to access the website.

Domain Names can be found in the combination of letters and numbers or as an extension to the domain names. Such as (.com, .net and so on)



DNS Services:
DNS Services is a type of server that manages, maintains, processes the Internet domain names and its associated record.



Communication protocols to access a website:
Communication protocols to access a website is a type of technology that is used to transfer information across the internet. There are a lot of types of communication protocols that are used to access a website:

  • Http:
Http also is known as HyperText Transfer Protocol is the protocol of transferring the file on the WWW.
  • Https 
Https also is known as HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure is protocols that secure the communication between two systems.
  • Ftp 
Ftp is known as file transferring protocol is a protocol used to transfer the file to the internet
  • Telnet:
Telnet is a networking protocol and software program that allows the user to access remote computers and terminals over the Internet.
  • IPsec:
IPsec also is known as Internet Protocol Security is a protocol that provides security for the IP network, in the form of cryptography. 

Moreover, IPsec uses a lot of security service to secure the IP network:
  • Authentication Header (AH):
Authentication Header (AH) will protect the data within an IP packet from being tampered while being transferred. However, the Authentication Header will not be able to stop anyone seeing the data within the IP packet because AH only prevent unauthorized access from tampering said data.
  • Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP):
Escalating Security Payload (ESP) will provide authentication to the data within the IP packet as well as providing encryption.
